Video Style Transfer: Restyle Any Clip Online

Restyle Video: the examples and original workflow below are provided for reference. The action buttons now open Veme’s updated video workspace, not a dedicated Restyle Video panel. Available features, models, limits and credit costs are shown in that workspace.

VEME runs video style transfer that restyles any clip into anime, Pixar, clay, or cinematic looks while the original motion and timing stay intact. Upload a few seconds of live-action footage and redraw every frame in the look you pick, without drawing a single frame by hand.

  • 3 to 10 second clips
  • Anime, Pixar, clay, cinematic presets
  • Optional style description

Styles

Anime, Pixar, clay and cinematic looks

The Restyle Video Style menu groups presets into eight families. Anime is a popular pick for video style transfer, and the same upload also covers Pixar-like 3D, clay stop-motion, watercolor, pixel art and other cinematic looks.

Cute moe anime style: girl in a red raincoat chasing soap bubbles under cherry trees

Cute moe anime style

Rounder faces, bigger eyes and pastel shading. Good for family clips, kids and pets.

Ukiyo-e print style: hiker crossing a rope bridge between misty peaks

Traditional ukiyo-e print

Flat layered color and bold outlines in the manner of a woodblock print. Suits landscapes and travel footage.

Clip rules

Clips that video style transfer accepts

Upload limits

  • Length from 3 seconds up to just under 10 seconds.
  • MP4 or MOV, up to 200 MB.
  • Short side at least 720 px and long side no more than 2160 px, so 720p and 1080p phone clips fit.
  • You can drop a new file or pick one from your History.

Clips that convert well

  • One clear subject and steady movement. Hard cuts inside the clip are harder to keep consistent.
  • Good light. A dark, noisy clip gives the model less to redraw.
  • Trim to the moment you want first, since the tool only takes a few seconds at a time.
  • Longer piece? Convert it shot by shot and join the results in an editor.
Before and after

Same frame, new look

Video style transfer is closer to repainting than to a filter. The tool reads what is in each frame, then redraws surfaces, color and texture—anime line art, clay material, or a cinematic grade—while the layout stays put.

What stays

VEME's tool page says the original motion, timing and camera work are kept. The wave, the train pulling in and the framing all come from the source.

What changes

Surfaces, color and texture. Skin, fabric and sky become drawn shapes with outlines, and the light turns into painted highlights.

What to check

Small faces, text on signs and fast hands are the hardest parts to redraw. Watch those spots in the result before you share it.

Your own look

Describe the style look in words

Next to the presets there is a Custom option and an optional style description box. Use it to push anime, Pixar, clay or cinematic looks further, or to write a look from scratch.

VEME's help text says you guide the style intensity through the description, so stronger wording gives a bigger change. The underlying model also accepts reference images, but whether the panel offers a style image upload could not be confirmed, so check the panel.

How it works

Three steps for video style transfer

Everything happens in one panel. Open video tools and follow along.

Choose a video

Open Restyle Video and upload a 3 to 10 second clip, or pick one you used before from History.

Pick a style

Open the Style menu and choose anime, a Pixar-like 3D look, clay, watercolor or another preset, or switch to Custom and write a short description.

Restyle and review

Press Restyle Video. The button shows the credit cost before you run. Play the result through once and look at faces and hands.

Good to know

Sound, cost and rights

Sound

  • The panel shows a note that the output video will not contain audio. Plan to put the soundtrack back in an editor afterwards.
  • Want new effects instead? VEME's Add Sound Effect tool can add them to the finished clip.

Cost and use

  • Runs use credits. VEME's FAQ says it is free to start with monthly starter credits, and that watermark-free output comes with paid plans.
  • Output resolution, file format and run time are not listed on the page, so check the result in the app.
  • Only convert footage you shot or have permission to use, especially when real people are in it.
FAQ

Video style transfer questions

How does video style transfer work on VEME?

Upload a short clip to Restyle Video, choose anime, Pixar-like, clay, cinematic or another preset—or write your own description—then press Restyle Video. The tool redraws each frame in that look and gives you a new clip with the same motion.

Does the motion stay the same?

That is the point of the tool. VEME says it changes only the visual style, while the motion, timing and camera work come from the original. Very fast or blurry movement can still look softer in the result.

Will the restyled video flicker?

VEME says the style is applied consistently across frames to keep the clip smooth. A steady clip with one clear subject gives the most stable result.

How long can my clip be?

At least 3 seconds and under 10 seconds, as an MP4 or MOV up to 200 MB. For a longer video, convert it in short pieces.

Is video style transfer free to try on VEME?

VEME shows a Start for free button, and its FAQ says new accounts get monthly starter credits. Each run uses credits, and the button shows the cost. Whether you need to log in before a first run is something to check on the site.

Does the result keep my audio?

The panel says the output video will not contain audio, so add the sound back in an editor, or add new effects with VEME's Add Sound Effect tool.

Restyle your next clip

Upload a few seconds of footage, pick anime, Pixar, clay or a cinematic look, and restyle it in one pass.
